Hate Has No Place Here
My Dad wrote an editorial to his small town newspaper as a comment to current events and as a way to express his utter frustration with anyone who would not agree with the Black Lives Matter movement. Part of his statement was that there was no heart in the household where he grew up that would allow hate to enter. As an artist and as a child of my parents, I could not help but create an image to go with the words. Based on the household where I grew up, I would ask, "Why would anyone want to carry a heart of hate? It is a wasted emotion and simply not worth a life.
